Let There Be Light!

candles

The candles from Soylicious are one of the most popular items at ShowCase.  Everyday we light one of the candles and the scent literally draws customers into the store.  The candles come in a plethora of scents for the holidays from gingerbread to pumpkin pie and Christmas tree.  There are also more perennial scents such as Lavender, Asian Amber, Peppermint Eucalyptus, among other beautiful varieties.

Aside from smelling divine, the candles are also much more eco-friendly than their paraffin wax counterparts which are made from petroleum.  Soylicious candles are made from 100% soy wax. Soy wax is healthier for many reasons:  They don’t increase carbon dioxide in atmosphere; emit 90% less soot than paraffin candles; and, last longer.

Also, the lower melting point of soy wax results in a larger liquid wax pool around the candle wick. It is from this liquid wax pool that the essential oils evaporate into the atmosphere — leading to greater fragrance disbursement.

And best of all, the soy beans used for the candles are grown right here in the good ole U.S.A.  Every purchase of these candles boosts the soybean market and helps support our farmers.

Now if that isn’t a reason to come into the store and stock up on these candles, then I don’t know what is.  Plus their beautiful, sleek packaging makes them ideal for gifts.  They come in all sizes, from extra small for stocking stuffers to large, for those on our list who have been extra good this season : ).
